Josh’s Amazing Baking Book

Hello, my name is Josh and I’m 12 years old. My grandma passed away at the start of lockdown. She had leukaemia but was in remission for this, when she developed a degenerative brain condition and finally passed away from breast cancer. During lockdown I asked my mum to teach me some of our favourite recipes. As we baked, I thought of the idea of creating a cookbook with our favourite recipes and raising money for charity. I wanted it to be recipes that kids can bake (although some of the recipes might need a little help from a grown-up) but I think that however small or big you are, you’ll enjoy all the treats in this book.
