Cake has become such an important part of people’s celebrations. At Serendipity Bakes, we specialise in unique designs with handmade embellishments and bespoke details. These cakes are perfect for children’s to grown-up parties as you’re never too old to enjoy cake and candles on your birthday! Our fondant cakes are airbrushed and hand-painted and feature hand-made sugar characters and details.
Or if you’re not a lover of fondant cakes, buttercream cakes are a delicious alternative and can be adorned with flowers and/or handmade sweet treats - our favourites include meringue kisses, macarons, marshmallows, truffles and chocolate sails.

Allergies
If you have any special dietary requirements or allergies that you need to cater for, please let me know so I can advise you of any risks. Our kitchen is not a nut-free environment and whereas we can cater for nut-free, gluten-free and dairy-free commissions, there may be traces of these allergens in our cakes.
Pricing
As all of our cakes are individually crafted with bespoke decorations and can be made to cater for your specific party size, it’s always best to get in touch with us so we can give you a better idea of cost. However, in order to give you an idea of pricing, an 8 inch fondant cake (serving 20-25 people) starts at £120 and would include a decorated base board, handmade sugar character and bespoke message. Two-tiered cakes start from £150. An 8 inch buttercream cake decorated with handmade sweet treats starts at £120. Once you give us an idea of your party size, we can let you know what size of cake you would need for it.
Delivery
All of our cakes are for collection from Clapham SW4 however we can make arrangements to deliver your cake if you’re not able to collect in person. Additional costs for this would be dependent on your location. Once you accept delivery of your cake, it is then your responsibility so please do ask me for the best way to store your cake until your occasion - fondant cakes should not be refrigerated but buttercream cakes may need to be kept chilled to ensure they stay in perfect condition.
Payment
In order to secure your booking, a 50% deposit will be required via bank transfer. Without this, we regret that your booking is not confirmed and we may not be able to fulfil it if other orders are confirmed in the meantime. The final 50% is required 10 days before delivery of the cake after which all monies are non-refundable.
